PIONEERS IN MID-INFRARED SUPERCONTINUUM AND ITS APPLICATIONS

NORBLIS is short for Nordic Broadband Light Solutions, and as the name indicates we focus on developing customized solutions for specific customer applications. With our patented techology and publication record we have proven ourselves to be leading in mid-infrared supercontinuum generation, and the only ones to apply mid-infrared supercontinuum for optical coherence tomography (OCT), spectroscopic imaging, and infrared spectroscopy. For more information about the technology and applications see our list of publications.

R&D PROJECTS AND COLLABORATION

At NORBLIS we are very open towards collaboration and development projects. We believe that the best results are achieved through pooling together knowledge and resources to achieve a common goal. Our people have a long history of large-scale international R&D projects that has led to impressive records and first proof-of-principle demonstrations, which would not have been possible otherwise. Feel free to contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for any inquiries regarding R&D projects and collaboration.

Two new projects on mid-infrared optical coherence tomography - TURBO and ZDZW

We are proud to announce our participation in two Horizon Europe projects that started in 2022:

  • TURBO - Towards turbine blade production with zero waste (turboproject.eu)
  • ZDZW - "Zero defects, zero waste" Non-Destructive Inspection Services for Digitally Enhanced Zero Waste Manufacturing (www.zdzw-project.eu)

In both projects, NORBLIS is tasked with developing a MIR OCT platform for industrial non-destructive inspection. Read more about the projects on the respective project websites linked above or on our LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/14050700
