Welcome to Solveig!
NORBLIS is again expanding with an Optical Engineer!
Solveig Perret joins us as already a true expert in supercontinuum fiber lasers after a position at NKT Photonics. Solveig did her PhD within supercontinuum generation in multi-mode optical fibers in France at FEMTO-ST Institute in the famous supercontinuum and nonlinear optics group of John Dudley and Thibaut Sylvestre. At that time, Solveig was a part of the European PhD School SUPUVIR on general supercontinuum technology, run by NORBLIS CEO Ole Bang, who already then was impressed with her technical skills.
With her unique background in supercontinuum fiber laser technology, Solveig is ideally suited for NORBLIS, where she will join the team responsible for the development and optimization of the NORBLIS long-wavelength 2-10 µm mid-infrared supercontinuum fiber laser “AURORA”.
