Turning Mid-IR Supercontinuum into a Tunable Fiber Laser!
Using a fast mid-infrared spectrometer from our friends over at NLIR, we captured a series of filtered spectra from 2500-4200 nm, shown in the picture below. The advantage of transforming the supercontinuum into a tunable fiber laser is that it allows for new measurement techniques, such as hyperspectral imaging and tunable laser absorption spectroscopy.
